Memory

Memory is a short film that was made as a letter of free interpretation for audiovisuals. Editing it was quite a challenge, especially so that the spontaneity of the message did not distort the narrative line too much. From dubbing to editing, it was an honor to have post-produced Luis's story.

This short film was the first one I made and the one I put the most effort into since I was both editor and director. Our teacher was very demanding, so we had to live up to an entertaining story. Fabrizio managed to survive this zombie apocalypse to see the final cut of the video, let's hope Ana has the same luck.

ONe lunch, one memory

Since I was little I had a beautiful memory, among so many traumas, I decided to capture it in an audiovisual way. I will never forget the bright sun, nor the beautiful landscape that my child's eyes longed for.

There's someone outside

This short film is special because it was made during the pandemic. Recording from home with the influence of the movie "Unfriended" was quite an experience. Editing with different videos at the same time was a challenge, but I am happy to see the results. I hope the man standing outside my house with a black hoodie thinks the same...

Being the director and editor suits me very well with the projects I do, it greatly motivates my leadership skills. This script is very interesting, it takes us back to the dark times of terrorism here in Lima, Peru. What would you be willing to do to save the ones you love? I think I would think twice...

For an art direction project, I included a lot of special effects. It's an ode to the excluded ones and the entire journey they took to be accepted in a surreal way. I say this because at some point I was part of them.

As one of the week's winners in Pablo's tournament during the pandemic, I had to upload a well-edited dance video to compete against equally good players from other countries. Dancing has been my passion since I was a child, so for this project I fused my editing skills with special effects and my dance technique to make a video as similar as possible to my favorite dance game: "Just Dance".

Borderlines

Within the audiovisual world there are many genres and formats, one of them is the documentary. When I made borderlines, I not only learned about people who had BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), but I also experienced editing with stop-motion and stock footage.

Editing within advertising was one of my first official jobs I got thanks to my university. Creating transitions with exact colors, frame changes, backgrounds, precise sounds and correct chroma management with archive images is not an easy task. But I am a very resilient and persevering kind of person. I will fight until the product is worthy of social networks and the world to see!
